June 18 (18 of 30) Happy Fathers Day

Another prepainted small , measures 2 x 3 inches. I’ll be back into painting mode tomorrow. I had intentions, but being away from home and routine it just did not work for me. I even brought my painting bag😞. Oh well it is what it is. Have an amazing day everyone!

June 5 (5th day of 30)

Silver dollar plant done from Sarah Cray’s workbook. vol 1. For day 5 of 30 days.

The focus of this painting was mixing various blue greens for each leaf. Good exercise.

June 4 (day 4 of 30)

Today I changed my subject matter, realized that I have changed in my focus on painting. Enjoying the more loosy goosey way of painting. There was a time where realistic was always my goal. This is a flower from my screen saver..not even close to actual flower, I’m ok with it it was fun to do. So day 4 is fantasy flower.🌺🌺🌺🌺 I like exploring how my paintings look in comparison of in the sun vs shade. Need to research which is best I terms of possibly making prints in the future. Would love any advice.

Pulling out the paints!

I have very good news, indeed. I’ve finally retired from my fabulous day job. I’m free to enjoy all my creative joys. Looking forward to just putting paint to paper. Enjoying the journey that will unfold in the months to come.

I will be doing another 30 paintings a day for the month of June. So stay tuned it will be all about spring. I hope any of you who would like to join along. Please post your links in the comment to see what you are painting as well. Happy Spring!!!
